Powdered microbiological media comply with various international standards, including ISO, European Pharmacopoeia, FDA, APHA, USP, AOAC, BAM, and other regulations specific to the type of analysis or target microorganism.

Ingredients, Peptones and Extracts

Agar, peptones, gelatin, carbohydrates, extracts, hydrolysates, and infusions are used for the formulation of culture media for quality control, production, and bioprocesses.

Special Peptones Condalow®

Condalow® peptones are ideal for bioprocesses. They feature a low endotoxin level (<200 EU/g) and do not require ultrafiltration. They provide an excellent source of peptides, vitamins, and carbohydrates that stimulate cellular and bacterial growth.

Animal Blood for Microbiology

Animal blood is added to culture media to provide adequate nutritional characteristics for particularly fastidious microorganisms or to determine hemolytic reactions typical of various microorganisms.

Applications and Formulations of Powdered Media

Dehydrated culture media have a wide range of applications in microbiology, analytical laboratories, research, and especially in industrial settings (food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical industries, vaccine production, etc.).

Culture media are formulated to provide a proper balance of nutrients, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to support optimal microbial growth.

There are many different types of culture media, designed to meet the nutritional requirements of a wide variety of microorganisms, as well as to offer standardized methods for isolation, growth, or identification, in accordance with specific regulations and established methodologies.
