Loops, spreaders, samplers

Inoculum loops consist of a small rod that ends with a ring-shaped loop, and are used in microbiology to collect and transfer a small quantity of microorganisms, called inoculum, for subsequent smearing on a plate containing culture medium. Typically the volume transferred ranges from 1 to 10 μl.

The spatulas or spreaders are used for uniform distribution of the sample on the agar surface, they are smooth and shaped so as not to damage the agar. The L, T or triangle shapes and the different sizes meet various needs.

Samplers, such as liquid dippers and spoons, are sterile and individually packaged.
