MS® FILTER MEMBRANE IN MCE
Smooth and more uniform surface than that of nitrocellulose alone. Furthermore, the color contrast provided by the filter surface facilitates particle detection and minimizes eye strain. They can be white or black, simple or reticulated/checkered. Black membranes give in some cases greater contrast between the colonies and the membrane.
The most used membranes have a diameter of 47 mm and porosity of 0.22 or 0.45 μm. Packaged in a single sachet or on a ribbon compatible with the Membrane Solutions MFDISP005 automatic dispenser, Sartorius 16713----BO, 16713----PS automatic dispenser and Millipore EZ-Pak Curve automatic dispenser.
