The indicator consists of a strip of paper printed with reactive ink which changes color from blue to black giving an indication of exposure to the sterilization process. It must be placed inside the package to be sterilized. Class 4 indicators demonstrate that the material has been exposed to a sterilization process and allow you to distinguish between exposed and non-exposed goods.
